About URL Financial Group

In 1986, Richard S. Basciano (1947-1997) and Gary C. Clemens purchased URL Inc. from United Republic Life Insurance Company. Their goal was to expand the company and provide a "ONE STOP - BROKERAGE SHOP" for independent agents, general agents and P&C agencies.

Gary C. Clemens
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Gary began his career in the insurance industry as a personal producer in 1968. He recruited, trained and developed a general agency and was later promoted to management of a life insurance company where he held the following positions: Director of Sales, Vice-President of Sales, President and Chief Operating Officer. In 2006 Gary was promoted to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Kenneth M. Clemens
President & Chief Operating Officer, LUTCF
After graduating from Furman University with a degree in business administration, Ken began his
insurance career as an independent producer in 1987. He joined URL in 1991 as a life and annuity underwriter. In 1995 he was promoted to Vice-President of Marketing and in 1997 he was promoted to Executive Vice-President and was made a principal owner of URL. In 2006 Ken was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer.

Joseph W. Corio
Senior Vice President, FLMI
Joe began his insurance career with Pennsylvania National Life Insurance Company and worked as an underwriter for his first six years. For the next nine years he held the position of Life Sales Manager. Joe joined URL in 1993. His experience in personal sales, underwriting and sales management brings a unique blend of expertise to the staff of URL. In 2006 Joe was promoted to Senior Vice President.

Steve Clemens
Vice President Life Marketing
After graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Telecommunications, Steve began his insurance career as a Life Marketing Representative at URL Financial Group in 2000. In 2006 he was promoted to Vice-President of Life Marketing. Steve is an active member of NAIFA-Harrisburg and currently is Central Pennsylvania’s Regional Chair for NAIFA’s Young Advisors Team.

Kristi Saul
Vice President Health Marketing, CBC
Kristi is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in psychology. She has over 8 years experience in the insurance industry and is an active member of the Central Pennsylvania Health Underwriters Association as well as the National Association of Health Underwriters. Kristi is an expert in HSA’s, HRA’s, FSA’s and MERP’s as designated by the NAABC. In 2006 Kristi was promoted to Vice President Health Marketing..

Deb Wilkinson

Deb attended Harrisburg Area Community College with an educational background in nursing and biology. She has almost two decades experience in the insurance industry and is an active member of the Central Pennsylvania Health Underwriters Association as well as the National Association of Health Underwriters.Deb is an expert in HSA’s, HRA’s, FSA’s and MERP’s as designated by the NAABC. Trips - Sales Contest

URL provides annual trips and sales contest for its brokers. Some of the locations we have visited over the past ten years include: Lake Tahoe, Jamaica, The Homestead, Nassau, Marco Island, St. Croix, Caribbean Cruise, Bermuda, Hollywood-Baja Cruise, Disney World, Puerto Rico, Scottsdale, Arizona. The Breakers, Palm Beach and Kingsmill Resort,  Williamsburg Va. We annually sponsor a Agent Sales Trip to say, Thank You, to you the brokers who support us.
